World's First Virtual Assistant for Healthcare Sector Offers Autonomous Scheduling of Appointments and Exams
Lisbon, 16 December 2023 – Lusíadas Saúde Group, in collaboration with technology company AgentifAI, has won the Best Healthcare Project category at the 7th Edition of the IDC Digital Awards 2022. The award recognizes their groundbreaking virtual assistant, LUSI, the first of its kind in the global healthcare sector.
LUSI leverages artificial intelligence to autonomously schedule appointments and exams for clients while providing information on healthcare services, pricing, and agreements. Developed in partnership with AgentifAI, LUSI utilizes natural language processing to optimize humanized response times, ensuring efficient, engaging, and empathetic communication.
AgentifAI, founded in 2016, is dedicated to enhancing existing virtual assistant solutions through AI-driven technology that results in more humanized communication. Rui Monteiro Lopes, CEO of AgentifAI, explains that LUSI’s innovation stems from its ability to meet multiple requests empathetically and intelligently. “LUSI is designed to improve service delivery for the benefit of the health and well-being of customers,” he states.
